Raipur, 2 April 2016 -  State Government has procured one lakh 26 thousand 400 quintals of minor forest produce in previous fiscal year 2015-16. This includes one lakh 12 thousand quintals of Sal seed, six thousand quintal chiraunji, 4800 quintals of Mahua seed, two thousand 600 quintal kusmi lac and one thousand quintal rangini lac.

State Government has entrusted Mr. Borah with additional charge of Secretary Social Welfare Department and Sports and Youth Welfare Department. Earlier, Mr. Borah was posted as Divisional Commissioner in Bilaspur.

Raipur, 02 April 2016 - About Rs 964 crore had been sanctioned to build High Schools, Model Schools and girls' hostels' buildings in the State under the National Middle Education Mission (Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan). Public Works Department Minister Mr. Rajesh Munat said that out of 1489 buildings , 1117 buildings had already been constructed.
