Chief Minister sanctions Rengakaar-Chilfi 60 km road : Electrification of 300 houses soon : Irrigation reservoir to be repaired
Raipur, 19 May 2017 - Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today participated in 'Samadhaan Shivir' as a part of Lok Suraj Mission at village Samnapur in district Kabirdham. He sanctioned 60 kilometer long Rengakaar-Saamnapur road in the Adivasi-dominated region. The laying of seven meter wide road will begin as early as possible. Bhoomipujan will be performed next month. The gathering of villagers were excited at the announcement and welcomed it by clapping of hands. Dr. Raman Singh called upon the villagers to participate in the foundation laying ceremony in huge numbers. The demand had been pending for the past several years. As the area falls under Forest Act the clearance had been pending for some time. Seven under-ground bridges also will be built for smooth movement of animals.
Dr. Raman Singh visited the Tendupatta procurement centre as soon as his helicopter landed at Samnapur. He said that the State Government had hiked the wages to Rs 1800 per Tendu patta bag . Bonus is also given. Villagers from ten gram panchayats' regions participated in the 'Samadhaan Shivir'. About 2651 complaints had been received during the Lok Suraj campaign out of which 2607 complaints had been redressed.
Chief Minister instructed the officials to provide electricity to 300 residences in the area within one month at the Samnapur cluster. He sanctioned Rs Ten lakh for laying of roads at the village and announced that a road will be laid from Anjana Road-Samnapur soon. Dr. Raman Singh said that Samnapur Irrigation reservoir's canal will be repaired at a cost of Rs Three crore. He also sanctioned Boys Asram School at Samnapur. He instructed the officials to install solar energy-based drinking water system at villages Nayapara, Kukurpara and Battipara. Dr. Raman Singh assured a student Mr. Domar Singh Markam of village Aamakhadra that his fees at the I.T.I. will be sanctioned from the Discretionary Funds soon.
