Sulabh Public Toilet Complexes inspected for cleanliness by Municipal Corporation: Sulabh Shauchalaya Swachchhata Abhiyan

Municipal corporation official made surprise inspection of the cleanliness in Sulabh toilets, stopped citizens going for open defecation and arranged to be sent to Sulabh Shauchalaya, instructed to make Raipur ODF City

Raipur 29 July 2017 - The Municipal Corporation Zone 4 Commissioner Rakesh Gupta conducted an surprise visit examination of the cleanliness in Mother Teresa Ward No. 43 along with the Zone Health Officer Tarun Thakur. Public in open defecation were penalized and sent to nearby Sulabh Public Toilet Complex. They also resolved not to go again in future for open defecation as per Zone Officers guidance.

Zone 3 was provided with cleanliness from the jets of accessible toilets accessible in Kalimata ward no 30 and facilitating smooth drainage in the sewerage line was done at the zone level for public health protection.

The officials of Zone 3 instructed the citizens not to go in open for toilet work. People near soap factory in Guru Govind Singh Ward No. 34 were instructed to use accessible toilets, located just 100 meters away for the sake of healthy life environment and otherwise, strong warning for fine was also told.

Zone 5 Shaheed Chudamani Nayak Ward Number 16 public awareness was done with continuous monitoring of open defecation in all practical manners.
